Department of History
Education Tour of History students: To increase the interest of the students in this subject, a tour is arranged every year. The Department has visited a number of historical places in Maharashtra and other states comprising Ter, Verul, Ajantha, Paithan, Nashik, Pune, Raigarh, Mahad, Kolhapur, Pratapgarh, Mysore, Shrishailam, Charminar, Ooty, Kanyakumari etc.
The Department of History to cultivate in its students a critical understanding of past and present human societies that will help them become informed, thoughtful and engaged citizens of the world. By offering our students the opportunity to discover historical inquiry as a meaningful part of their humanistic formation, history contributes directly to the highest intellectual mission of the college
