Shikshan maharishi dnyandeo mohekar mahavidyalaya is a college which truly serves the purpose of educating all without any distinction and in that it stands distinct from the rest. For we educate the poorest of the poor with the motto “Dnyan deep lau jagi” i.e for the well-being and happiness of the society. It is for this significant role played by our college in “spreading higher education among the most disadvantaged sections of society besides our award winning performance in sports, games, N.S.S. & N.C.C.
Shikshan maharishi dnyandeo mohekar mahavidyalaya is a branch of Dnyan prasarak mandal,yermala an educational trust established this college in 1969 with the objective to cater to the academic needs of the poor and the needy, particularly with a rural background.
. Today we have a three storeyed main building with an adequate number of class-rooms, computer laboratories, common rooms, a separate library building. We have competent and well-qualified teaching faculty and an excellent administrative tradition..
The Junior wing is also added to the college which imparts instructions to students joining first year Arts & Commerce (F.YJ.C. – XI) & second year Arts & Commerce (S.YJ. C. – XII).
MCVC Course is also attached with Junior College.
The Degree College conducts the Three Year Course in Arts & Commerce (B.A., B.Com & B.Sc). The Degree College also provides Two Year Post Graduate Course in M. A. (History & Marathi). & M.Sc (Zoology).
These courses are affiliated to the Dr,babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University,Aurangabad.
