Department of English :-
The first HOD of the department was Shri. S.V.Patil. He also worked as the Vice-Principal of the college. Shri. S.V.Pawar took the charge of HOD in 2006. His contribution in teaching UG classes in Science College and PG course in Arts College is worth mentioning. His is a versatile personality. He motivated students to participate in cultural and literary activities as well as Youth Festival. Dr.K.D.Jadhav and Shri Ankushrao N.M. appointed as Assistant Professor in 2009.Department started a extra coaching classes for the competitive exams and also focused on Spoken English.

- ENGLISH LANGUAGE LAB ACTIVITIES
- 1. Phonetic script is taught from the basic vowels and consonants.
- 2. Pronunciation of vowels and consonants is taught through various software packages.
- 3. British English Accent: Cassettes of British Pronunciation are provided for listening and understanding.
- 4. Script of American phoneme is also given.
- 5. Student’s own recording along with the listening session is advised.
- 6. Cassettes of conversation by Native speakers are provided.
- 7. Students are made to record their own conversation’s on the pattern of the native speakers.
