Department of Geography
The Department of Geography is the important Department of college in the social science stream. It is established in the year 1986 and P.G. Started in 2000. Initially the department started with only one teaching faculty, and two students. Presently, the department has 03 teaching faculty and more than 500 students. The Department has U.G., P.G. and Ph.D Research centre Facility. Department is well equipped with Sufficient instruments like GPS, GIS Software and Automatic Weather Station. There is full strength for Geography as an optional subject with good results every year. Students participate in the Village survey, Study tour, Spot observation and field study.
